The Intersection snapping tool allows you to snap to the intersection point of two or more feature line segments. The following graphic shows an example of intersection snapping. The goal is to measure the point where three land parcels intersect:
|Snap to the intersection point of the three lines.||The measure point feature will be accurately placed on the intersection point.|
To snap to the intersection point of multiple lines, move the mouse near the intersection spot of the line until the red circle and the symbol appear. Then click on the line to create the designated point measure feature.
