Legend Display Order
You can specify the way the legend structure is displayed. Simply click on the legend display button in the legend header to display the drop-down list.
|Hierarchy||The feature classes and working levels are displayed in a
hierarchical tree where each feature class has been allocated to a respective theme (or category).
|List of featureclasses||All feature classes and working levels are displayed in a
single non-hierarchical list. The display order of the legend entries can be changed, and you can move feature classes to the foreground or background, respectively.
|Analysis||Shows all vector feature classes and working levels in a single non-hierarchical list.|
Bookmark Quick Selection
The Open bookmark quick selection button in the legend header enables the loading of previously saved map configurations. After clicking the button, a drop-down list appears:
The first entry of the drop-down list, Last saved map configuration, loads the map configuration status of the last session (at the point where it was closed).
For more information, visit Bookmark Manager.
In a complex legend configuration it is difficult to find a particular item. For this reason it is possible to filter the legend items (themes and features).
Content of themes
This two buttons allow you either to expand all themes, so every single feature class within a theme will be visible or to reduce the visibility only to themes.
Active feature classes
On the right side of the legend header are two more buttons. The left one allows you to Hide all non-active featureclasses and the right one rebuilds the legend to the state before the Hide all... button was used.
