The Dimensioning tab on the menu window contains various commands to dimension features on the map. The dimensioning results are stored in a local file and are represented in the client as a working level. The following table gives an overview of the dimensioning commands:

If you click on one of the above described buttons, a window opens on the right side of the map window.


In this window you can set a few options:

  • Prefix: What should be displayed in front of the dimensioning text.
  • Suffix: What should be displayed at the end of the dimensioning text.
  • Precision: How many numbers behind the comma should be displayed.

Lock deactivated.png If it is deactivated the Prefix or Suffix is not shown in every dimensioning action.
Lock activated.png If it is deactivated the Prefix or Suffix is shown in every dimensioning action.

Delete Dimensioning Elements

For deleting extisting dimensioning elements, there are two commands available.

The Red deleteall icon.PNG command deletes the entire features of the Dimensioning working level.

With the Red delete icon.PNG command, you can delete single dimensioning elements by selection. Click on the command, and then select the respective line on the map to erase it.
