Field Description
Unit Three possible options:
  • Pixel
  • Meter
  • Foot
Blue.pngPixel is a scale independent unit. That means that the symbol has the same size at every scale of the map. Meter and Foot are scale dependent.


Threshold A cluster point symbol will only be created if the number of elements within the Gap is equal or greater than the defined one.
Minimum Gap The minimum distance between two elements, which should be considered.
Point clusterpoint.png Creates a point symbol for your ClusterPoint.
Field Description
Graphic point.png Adds a new point graphic.
Field Description
Size Size of the point symbol.
Rotation Defines the angle of the rotation of the point.
Opacity in %: Allows you to change the opacity of the ClusterPoint within the style.
Anchorpoint-X: This value defines the change of the balance point from its original - the center (left or right).
Anchorpoint-Y: This value defines the change of the balance point from its original - the center (up or down).
Displacement-X: This function subtracts or adds the given values to the coordinates of the points (left or right).
Displacement-Y: This function subtracts or adds the given values to the coordinates of the points (up or down).
External graphic point.png Allows you to define a external graphic instead of a common mark type.
  • File: From this drop down box you can choose from different resources.
Blue.pngPreviously you have to add resources to your symbology library. Details to this topic can be found here.


  • Search resources.png allows you to filter your whole collection of resources. Furthermore it is possible to switch directly to your desired folder and you don't have to scroll the complete way down to get the right resource.

Field Description
Pointtype: Allows you to choose between different point types:
  • square
  • circle
  • triangle
  • star
  • cross
  • x
Fill symbolizer.png Fill of the exploded cluster point.
Field Description
Color Choose the color of the stroke by clicking on the color button.
Opacity in %: Allows you to change the opacity of the ClusterPoint within the style.
Stroke symbolizer.png Adds a stroke to the point symbol.
Field Description
Size Defines the size of the stroke.
Color Choose the color of the stroke by clicking on the color button.
Opacity in %: Allows you to change the opacity of the ClusterPoint within the style.
Dasharray: Initializes the spacing between the particular line segments.
Initial Dashoffset: Displacement of the dash depending on the original one.
Text clusterpoint.png Click this button and you will get forwarded to the expert mode form of text creation.

Family Font of the title.
Size Size of the text within the point symbol.

Field Description
Radius Defines the radius of the halo around the text.
Fill symbolizer.png Color of the halo.

Color Choose the color of the stroke by clicking on the color button.
Opacity in %: Allows you to change the opacity of the ClusterPoint within the style.
Hatch exploded clusterpoint.png Fills the halo with a hatch instead with a solid color.

  • Single Hatch Single hatch exploded cluster.png
  • Cross Hatch Cross hatch exploded cluster.png
